How to get your first clients for free

I have been watching Gary Vaynerchuk, and his DailyVee series on YouTube. In almost every episode he said to reach out to people.

I finally decided to step outside of my comfort zone. I picked Instagram to do it, and start looking for people that might need my services.

Many people need your expertiese and services. They just don’t know you exist. 😀

I reached out to approximately 5 people per day. I got some bad responses, some people never get back to me, but some of them wanted to work with me. At that moment I realized that it may be a legit way of getting my first clients.

I kept doing it, I messaged about 100 people. I made some websites, design, SEO optimization, and social media marketing. In the end, I had about 7 clients. A couple of them were smaller fishes, but there was one whale, that could have been life-changing (didn’t work out, but that was mainly my fault).

Conclusion

Do it, it may take some time, and it may feel like you are just spamming other people’s DMs. But try it, stick to it for at least a month, reach out to as many people as you can, and in the end it may change your life for the better.

I am very mad at myself that I didn’t stick to it longer. It would help my business grow faster and get many more clients.
